happy birthday, yan!

Sometimes it’s surreal to think that two people can be so close that you feel like you’re never complete anymore without that being. We read it in Romance books, we see it in the movies and longed for it in our dreams. Yet sometimes we didn’t knew we are already living it. Maybe because of the harsh realities of life and our eternal quest to succeed in life, we forgot the significance of a single being to us and how they, though we don’t realize it, has been the constant listening ear, the office problem shock absorber and the perpetual voice that always tells us to go on.

 So today I want to take this opportunity to say thank you to my wife. I know I haven’t been that appreciative with your efforts these past months and I haven’t really spoken well and take time to say some recognition to the little things that made my life easier and better to live. 

Thank you, Jean. You are my rock, my bestfriend and my girl. The past thirteen years knowing you has been nothing but a blessing. Never in my wildest imagination that I will achieve this profound and sublime relationship we are having, and it’s all because of you. Thank you for bearing Fergus and giving me a reason to get my ass home early everyday and loving it. For motivating me in every way to constantly improve myself and learn new things each time.  For rejoicing with me in my triumphs and understanding me on things I cannot prevent. For giving the forgiveness and leading the way when I get lost and feel very human. And lastly, thanks to you and Fergus for giving me new lessons in happiness each new day.
