Gong Xi FaChai
Thursday, February 7th, 2008For most of chinese, in China and here in Singapore, Chinese New Year is a time to get together with relatives and friends, pay respect to their elders and talk about the past, present and future, giving oranges for good luck and ‘hong bao’ (red packet with money). The Chinese New Year is the most important holiday for them. It’s very much like Christmas in the Philippines or Thanksgiving in the United States.”
Here’s greeting Everybody a great and prosperous Lunar New Year! May we all be lucky (though we make our own luck) in this year of the rat. enjoy the holiday! Gong Xi!!!
